Ok, have been procrastinating non-stop, now it's time to blog about Wanek's wedding in Batu Pahat.

As you can see, I wore black, to signify losing Wanek to Megu. Best man wins, I guess (and I'm not even a man, let alone being the BEST man). Another reason to wear black is because it's the easiest choice, and I don't have to iron much. If you have been my FB friend, you'd know that this baju is recycled from several years back, from my brother's engagement.

Anywayyyyyssssss. I had a lot of fun going to BP. Myself and Aroh went in one car with Wahindal and Intan, and you can imagine the kind of conversation that ensued when those two makciks are there. The nikah ceremony was a mixture of funny and sad. Funny cuz, instead of a ring they opted for a necklace and Megu struggled with the clasp, until Mango the best man had to help him out (big HAHA). Sad cause the whole of Megu's family were brought into tears once they have been pronounced husband and wife.

Next day, early in the morning we kidnapped Wanek to McDonald's for breakfast. Intan called her room to ask her and wanek said "Sat nak mintak permission suami". I had the worst sawan at that moment. After that the reception went on smoothly, and loads of our mutual friends were there.

why the hell am I sulking? I'm not so sure myself.

Wanek's Mom asked me when will I get married. I twisted the story a little bit and said "Saya tunggu Wani akikah dulu la Ibu," hehehe lepas tu aku kena tampar dgn Ibu for being so cheeky.

A few days after their wedding, Wanek came over to our place "just for a moment sebelum aku balik rumah". We were cooking then and asked her to join us for dinner and she said "aku makan sikit jela, sebab mak mertua aku dah masak kat rumah wei". She ended up lepak lama gila and makan nasi 2 pinggan.

I myself felt a little sad hearing that. But Wanek is a strong and rational girl, she'll get over that once she can adapt living as a wife. Changes are hard but marriage is a beautiful thing (esp one like wanek & Megu's cause they have  been "together" since before I knew Wanek).

Good Luck Wanek, I wanna see Wanek/Megu junior soon and Aunty Shep is gonna smother them with lotsa lurveeeeee.
